THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE

CELEBRITY BIOS

Dave Sposito:

Dave Sposito is the host of the award winning Spokane morning show, "Dave, Ken and Molly" on 92.9 'ZZU. The show is also the longest running show and is now gearing up for their 13th year of Christmas Wish. Dave, Ken and Molly's Christmas Wish has raised and spent nearly a half million dollars for local families in need. Dave has been married to Judi for 11 years, they have three kids... Kristi, Samantha and David. Although his wife is a champion speler... Dave is not very gud. In his "spare" time Dave sells real estate and was Tomlinson Black's Rookie of the year in 2006... he also coaches two basketball teams and hosts a variety of local political and charity events.

Mark Peterson:

KXLY 4's Mark Peterson is a Montana native and has been "talking" professionally since 1981. He launched his career in radio, doing a variety of shifts and duties, which included morning drive, midday, evenings and over-nights; doing a little bit of everything to get his career going. In 1988, Mark made the jump to television broadcasting. Three TV stations and two states later, he is currently one of the mainstays of KXLY 4's morning news program, Good Morning Northwest HD. He has been with KXLY for 8 years and continues to try new things all the time.

KXLY’s Extreme Team projects are the work Mark is the most proud of. Mark has spearheaded this program since the beginning and continues to focus on helping those who can't physically or financially help themselves. In addition to the great work he does with Extreme Team, Mark also takes part in dozens of local community functions and is always looking to help local non-profit organizations in any way he can.

Mark is the proud father of three boys, ages 4, 11 and 15. His wife would say she is the mother of four boys (Mark included). As you can see, Mark has no problem keeping busy and is always trying to do a "better" job... as a parent, as a broadcasting professional, and as a proud member of the Spokane community.
